BOOKING CONDITIONS

TERMS AND DEPOSITS

A deposit of 30.00 per person per week (this includes holiday cancellation protection if taken) is requested when booking. The offer of any room is subject to the room being available on receipt of deposit. No reduction is made for late arrivals, early departures or temporary absence.

RATES FOR CHILDREN SHARING WITH TWO ADULTS

Here is always a warm welcome for children and the following charges are quoted for children sharing a room with two adults but no reduction is made for children occupying adult accommodation.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES

Rooms will be ready for occupation from 2.00 PM on day of arrival and should be vacant by 10.00 AM on day of departure. Bookings commence with dinner on the day of arrival and terminate at breakfast on day of departure.

CARS

he hotel has two large car parks of its own which are free of charge to residents.

ACCOUNTS

Please make cheques payable to FORT WAYNE HOTEL. Cheques will only be accepted before 6PM each Monday. V.A.T. Our terms our fully inclusive of VAT @ 17.5 %, should the Government alter the rate, then the increase will be made to your final account. There is no service charge.
Access and Visa are accepted with no service charge.

CANCELLATIONS

Should it become necessary for guests to cancel their reservation, the hotel should be informed without delay. Every endeavor will be made to re-let the accommodation, but should this prove impossible, the hotel reserves the right to be reimbursed for any loss involved by such cancellation. We recommend the holiday cancellation protection as stated on reverse of this leaflet. If you require this please tick on the booking form.

CANCELLATION PROTECTION

1. A cancellation protection scheme is operated by us to indemnify the client against his or her legal obligation to pay the balance of the room charge and forfeiture of his or her deposit in the event that the client is obliged to cancel his or her holiday for any reasons specified in paragraph 2 hereinafter mentioned. Cover is limited only to any outstanding room charges due to FORT WAYNE HOTEL in respect of the booking in question.
2. The protection scheme will provide indemnity in the case of illness, death or any accidental injury occurring to the client, or to any other member of the clients party who are specifically included and named on the booking form and whose illness, death or accidental injury prevents the client from taking up the holiday accommodation which has been reserved.
3. Pursuant to the indemnity, any deposit paid in respect of the client will be refunded in full and client will be relieved of all further liability for the payment of the balance of the room charge. In the event of the balance of the room charge having been received by FORT WAYNE HOTEL prior to the arrival of the client at the hotel ,then the amount of such charge will be refunded in full. 
4. The premiums are as follows:
   Adults 8.00 Per Stay
   Children 4.00 Per Stay
   Premiums form part of the reservation deposit.
   (Please note that premiums are not returnable)

CONDITIONS

1. Notification of any claim must be made by recorded letter without delay and in any case before 9.00 am on the day the holiday is due to begin, excepting accidents en route to the hotel. Please see condition 8.
2. Only members of the party named on the booking form are covered by this protection.
3. A medical certificate will be required to show that the cancellation was unavoidable. No claims will be considered without one.
4. The protection shall cease upon the room(s) being occupied by the client or any member of the party. 
5. War, or civil violence, and redundancy are expressly excluded. 
6. The protection is operable at the time of booking only
7. Receipt of the protection premium will be acknowledged on the confirmation account. Such acknowledgment confirms the Company's liability to hold the client covered.
8. In the event of accidents en route then the deposit is not refundable but further costs are excused.
